MVStudio Launch featuring Brother Ali & Plain Ole Bill
-3.8.2011 (Tuesday) @ 5:00 PM to 7 PM
-Minneapolis Public Library Central Library (Pohlad Hall)
-300 Nicollet Mall
-Minneapolis, MN

MVStudio (Music & Video Production) is a program in the downtown public library providing free studio access and training to the youth of the Twin Cities.

Rhymesayers became involved in this project via our relationship with The Institute of Production Of Recording, who assisted in MVStudios by training the Teen Tech Squad. The Teen Tech Squad is a youth program who will help teach and assisted the young people who come into experience these work stations.

Brother Ali, Plain Ole Bill, and Kevin Beacham (Rhymesayers/Fifth Element) will be special guests for the launch date helping demonstrate how the program and studio equipment works. It will be an evening of information, live song recording, DJ showcasing, freestyle session and more!!!

This is a great opportunity to get young peoples involved in music. It gives them a chance to learn some experience before making an investment in their own equipment. Also, providing that opportunity to someone who might not yet be able to afford to invest in their own equipment.

The MVStudio program will also be available in other libraries in Twin Cities area.
